Issue: After copying TrueType (TTF) fonts onto your system, the STYLE command and the Text Style window in AutoCAD does not show them. Drawings containing these fonts display text in the wrong font. If so, back in the day, special symbols were assigned however the author of the font felt like, so if a program like AutoCAD referenced a certain symbol because it was supposed to be the degree sign, but the font author decided to put the fraction there instead. Whelp, there you go. Apparently, there is an updated (newer) version of this (and similar) fonts that fixes the problem. Of course, it can be difficult to diagnose because it looks like everything is the same.
